Plum Olives are thought to be a descendant of an ancient Greek variety of olives. They are a plum shape – hence the name, with a strong distinctive flavour and rich flesh which are naturally fermented and grown in central Greece soil.
The best produce is picked from our olive groves in Itea from farms which have been classified as being high in environmental value. This simply means that our farms are environmentally respectful e.g. increasing biodiversity, reducing the use of pesticides and fungicides, managing fertilizer inputs, and improving water management.
Our olives are prepared the old, traditional way. Without chemical additives, we leave the olives in water and salt and allow the olives to be fermented naturally.
When the process is completed, we deliver to you a unique, traditional Greek product with a distinctive flavour.
