Raw Thyme & Pine Honey from Crete ( The bees make the mix!)
Our Thyme & Pine honey has a rich aroma and intense taste, which comes from thyme and pine found within.
The procedure of the mixing is not done by man, but by the bees themselves. The bee hives are firstly placed near the thyme bushes and then transferred to the pine trees.
The pines and thyme that coexist in the Cretan ecosystem makes this a very special and one of a kind honey. It is rich in minerals and proteins which have beneficial effects to the respiratory and digestive system.
The honey is produced exclusively in Crete and has gained a PDO status.
Served hot or cold as an appetiser, as a dip or spread on sandwiches or baked goods.
